Stanford at the Montreux Jazz Festival

Dear Alumni and Friends,

We would like to invite Stanford Alumni to join us for an Apero and Concert at the Montreux Jazz Festival on July 4, 2020. This year, we will again be combining the Festival visit with our Annual General Meeting earlier in the day. See the separate signup for the AGM.

As the last four editions were a great success, we are happy to offer you this unique event with alumni and friends centered around the world-renowned Montreux Jazz Festival as an annual event for the Stanford Club of Switzerland (SCofS). The event is scheduled on July 4th 2020 with the following tentative programme:

• 17h00 – 18h30 Apéro -VIP area on the lake shore in Montreux with live music entertaintment
  

• 18h30 - 20h00 Free time to enjoy the festival

• 20h00 -Midnight Concert at the Auditorium Stravinsky, 1820 Montreux

In addition to the main concert that evening, the festival offers many exciting free concerts along the lake. So, you can join us for just the apéro at the festival's VIP lounge, where in addition to good food and drink, we will have live music entertainment and then wander the festival on your own, or join us for both the apéro and the main evening concert on the main stage of the Auditorium Stravinsky.

In order to ensure that we get tickets for the Jazz Festival, we must order by March 22 before the final schedule is released, but we are sure to have a great concert in Stravinsky Hall on the first Saturday of this year's festival.

To allow alumni the maximum flexibility in enjoying the festival, we are providing three ticket options.

• 50 CHF for the Apero at the VIP lounge along the Lake in the middle of the festival

• 150 CHF for Standing tickets for the Main Concert at the Auditorium Stravinsky and for the Apero at the VIP lounge
  

• 350 CHF for Seated tickets for the Main Concert at the Auditorium Stravinsky and the Apero at the VIP lounge
  

The terms and conditions of the Montreux Jazz Festival apply to this purchase, in particular as regards any refunds in case of cancellation.
